Shoe Shopping! There is nothing in this world that brings me such materialistic joy as shopping for a new pair or pairs of shoes. When I go shopping the first thing that pops on my mind screen is, “head for the shoe department.” Shoes and I have a love relationship. That perfect pair always seeks me out. When I enter the shoe department of any store they whisper, “Here I am Lisa come buy me so you can take me home.” My shoes mean so much to me that I will sideline a fabulous outfit until I have the perfect shoe. I can’t just wear any pair of shoes with a fabulous outfit; I need that pair that makes my outfit sing. My shoe of preference is a strappie sandal that ties around the ankle and all shoe fanatics know just how sexy this is. I am 5 feet and 9 ½ inches tall and proud of it. However, when I put on my 3 inch heels I am over 6 feet tall and command attention thanks to my heels. Nothing makes me feel sexier and more feminine then walking around in my heels. In my heels there is a little more sway in my strut and glide in my stride. With all my charm bracelets you will find that I have a shoe on them. I recently found a charm bracelet with nothing but shoes and boots and you know I had to snatch up that find quickly. A true shoe fanatic would understand. I am not sure what it is that makes me so happy in the shoe department; the styles, materials, textures, or colors. Whatever it is I just love shoes!!!!!!!!!!

Shoes, Shoes, shoes. Yes I understand that I only have two feet, but all the options that shoes allow you to have make me giddy with glee. You can always find an outfit to match your shoes, but you can't always find to shoes to match your outfit so I always say buy the shoes...the outfit will come! I may have an outfit for months and months before I wear it because I haven't found just the right shoe to make the marriage complete. But you can't rush perfection.

I don't believe you can have too many shoes. Your shoes tell alot about you as a person and how you feel about yourself. Today I feel sexy so I am going for the 3 inch heels; or I feel sporty so I am going with my tennis shoes; or I feel pratical so I am going with my sensible shoes, the ones that give me the most comfort. I love my summer shoes the most. They say the most about me and allow my toes to be free from confinement.

My feeling about shoes is something that my husband can and will never understand so I have given up trying. He just stares at all the shoes boxes I have in awe. And cringes when he sees another box coming in. He just hopes I don't pass this obsession on to my daughter. But it's not something you pass...either you love shoes and the pleasure finding a shoe you love in your size can bring or you don't. Yes I only have two feet and I may not wear every pair of shoes I have, but just the knowledge that I have the perfect shoe at home just waiting to make it's debut feels me with joy! I don't question why I feel this way about shoes, I just know that it feels right and the minute I pass buy a shoe store without stopping in it you should take me straight to the emergency room because I am definitely not well.
